Let me introduce you to the girl behind this incredible smile. This is Mary and she is graduating SOON from Bellarmine Prep in Tacoma. I met Mary, along with her mom Caroline and sister Anne, along the Ruston Way waterfront. We had fantastic weather, and even though lots of people were out enjoying the blue skies and warm temperatures, we were able to get a great variety of images of Mary around the Chinese Reconciliation Garden. Our first stop was at the Pagoda, which has some great greenery and pretty blooms nearby.
After a quick outfit change, we worked our way down towards the water. I couldn’t pass up this shady path. The branches framed her perfectly.
Mary had just the right outfit for the beach shots. The blue and white provided a nice pop against the gray driftwood and rocky shoreline.
That golden glow started to make its appearance. 
Cheers to bringing your sister and mom along on your senior session! Not only did we get these darling pictures, but Anne and Caroline were awesome wardrobe assistants!

One last outfit change and we finally had this pretty bridge all to ourselves. Patience is a must for shooting portrait sessions in popular locations, but it definitely paid off. These rhododendron shots were Mary’s favorites.
