MORE THAN JUST BEAUTIFUL PHOTOS
Planning an elopement in the mountains comes with its own set of adventures, and I'm here to help you navigate them!
With years of experience exploring and photographing the outdoors, I love helping couples find incredible locations, plan around the best lighting, and prepare for the unexpected
changes that come with mountain weather.
From choosing a location that fits your vision to creating a timeline that leaves room to explore, my goal is to make the entire experience feel relaxed, enjoyable, and completely your own.
Whether you're dreaming of an intimate lakeside ceremony or a hike into the mountains, I'll be there to document the experience and all the moments along the way.
FAQ
01. Do you help us choose a location for our elopement?
Absolutely! Finding beautiful places is one of my favorite parts of the process. Whether you're dreaming of mountain views, alpine lakes, or somewhere a little more off the beaten path, I'll help you explore locations that fit your vision, accessibility needs, and the time of year.
02. What happens if the weather doesn't cooperate?
Mountain weather can be unpredictable, and that's something I'm very familiar with! We'll keep an eye on the forecast leading up to your elopement and talk through backup options if needed. I'm always happy to help adjust our photography plans when conditions change, while keeping safety and your experience a priority.
03. Can we hike or visit multiple locations during our elopement?
Of course! Whether you want to hike to a beautiful overlook, explore a few scenic locations, or make a whole afternoon of it, I'm all for it. We'll work together to choose the right amount of coverage and create a timeline that allows us to enjoy the experience without feeling rushed.
04. Do you help with planning and permits?
Yes! I love helping couples with the photography side of planning, from location recommendations and lighting to building a timeline that makes sense for your day. I can also help point you toward permit information and location restrictions so you know what to look into before your elopement.
05. We've never had professional photos taken. Will you help us feel comfortable?
Absolutely! You don't need any experience in front of the camera. I'll give you direction when it's helpful, but I also love stepping back and capturing the natural interactions between you two. My goal is for your photos to feel genuine and for the experience to be just as enjoyable as the images themselves.
06. Do you travel for elopements?
Yes!! I'm based in Idaho and love photographing elopements throughout the Sawtooths, McCall, the Tetons, and beyond. Travel expenses may apply depending on your location, and I'll always provide a clear quote before booking.
